Gifts of Time & TalentGifts of Time & Talent

At Trinity Sonoma, there are many ways to share your time and talents to benefit our parish. We encourage you to prayerfully consider the gifts you have been given when determining how you might give back, fulfilling your commitment to serve the Lord and His people in action.

The Gift of Time

Service to our church and community consists of offering our time in activities such as serving on the Worship Team, volunteering at Church Workday, and taking communion to the home bound. The gift of time spent in prayer is just as important.

The Gift of Talent

God blesses us each with unique talents that can serve our church and community. By offering back those God-given talents to the church and to one another, we are able to bless Him in return.

Altar GuildAltar Guild

The Altar Guild is a volunteer group of the parish whose ministry is to care for the altar, vestments, vessels, and altar linens of the parish. Altar Guild members prepare the sanctuary for services and clean up afterwards. Altar Guild members are also responsible for the decoration of the sanctuary including the arranging the flowers.

Should you have interest in joining the Altar Guild, please contact the Church Office at 707-938-4846 or email: email hidden; JavaScript is required

Church WorkdayChurch Workday

Help us to maintain our church building and grounds while getting to know and spend time with other church members. Please look for notices about when Church workdays are scheduled. You don’t need to be a church member to help out.

There are always a wide variety of tasks to be completed; most are quite easy so don’t worry about physical difficulty. No experience is needed but if you do happen to be an expert at some phases of construction or maintenance, then your good advice will be appreciated.

Should you have any questions, please contact the Church Office at: 707-938-4846 or trinityepiscopalsonoma.comcast.net

Coffee HourFellowship Hour

Fellowship Coffee Hour is is held immediately following Sunday service. Coffee and light refreshments are served. This is an essential part of our hospitality and an important way for Trinity Sonoma to welcome strangers to become friends and share in God’s grace. For those who watch the services on live stream, there is a Virtual Fellowship Coffee Hour held via Zoom. We welcome the congregation and visitors to log on and visit with one another following the service.

Acolytes

Acolytes participate in the service through carrying the crosses, candles, and other items in procession. They also help in a number of important ways throughout the service assisting the rector.
