Vanderbilt Lecture on Christian Life and Thought.The Vanderbilt lecture is presented annually, with different topics each year. This year our Vanderbilt speaker was Sara Miles, who spoke on Raising the Dead: Worship, Service and Transformation. She is the director of a feeding program at St. Gregory Nyssa in San Francisco which feeds up to 800 persons every Thursday.
Ms. Miles is also the author of two books which are on our recommended reading list for this month:
